Razorblade tears book trailer

A trailer I animated for the impactful thriller crime by S.A. Cosby. It follows two fathers on a mission to get justice for their murdered sons who were in a loving, gay interracial relationship. I wanted to invoke a sense of driving urgency in the animation, along with a dash of gritty crime noir that I saw in the original book design and web ads.

I produced two trailers: One for the general paperback release — and one for Target’s Channel Red, advertising the book’s availability in Target Book Club.

Fun fact: This book made Obama’s 2022 summer reading list, so like, if that isn’t endorsement enough to read it IDK what is. Definitely pick it up if you have the chance.
